The report pointed out that after fierce market competition and several rounds of penetration of home appliances to the countryside, the reshuffle in the light and heat industry has intensified. Solar water heaters, as the most mature product in China's solar energy industry, are calculated to have a total capacity of 200 million square meters in 2012, saving 30 million tons of standard coal per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 74.7 million tons, and having good social and economic benefits.
