CEVA, the leading provider of signal processing IP for smart and connected devices (NASDAQ: CEVA), has announced that GCT Semiconductor, a top designer and supplier of advanced 4G mobile semiconductor solutions, has acquired a license for CEVA’s RivieraWaves Low Energy Bluetooth (BLE) IP. This licensing is part of GCT’s new IoT solution, the GDM7243iLTE single-chip platform. The GDM7243i combines ultra-low power Bluetooth with GCT’s cutting-edge LTE-M and NB-IoT cellular technologies, offering a highly integrated solution for next-generation IoT applications such as tracking, wearables, security, agriculture, healthcare, industrial systems, and consumer electronics.
