Apple Announces Delayed Offering of AirPods

The Verge Chinese Station reported on October 28

Apple's first wireless headset, the AirPods, was originally scheduled to be available this month, but it seems that Apple hasn’t really been ready to bring the headset to market.

According to reports, Apple stated in its statement to the media that they "need more time for AirPods to be ready to face consumers." As for how long the headset will be postponed, Apple did not give a specific time.

What exactly was the problem that affected AirPods’ on-time sale was equally unknown to us. Apple had previously sent a pre-production version of the AirPods with the iPhone 7 for evaluation, and the media did not find any major problems with the headset. However, it seems that Apple still needs to solve some technical problems.

The extension of Apple products is actually quite rare, but there are indeed some cases in our impression. Take the latest incident as an example. Apple found a loophole on the day that watchOS 2 was scheduled to be released, and decided to postpone the release. (Author: Jacob Kastrenakes, the compiler: Sean)
