The population of Chongqing is more than 32 million, and the radiation population is more than 250 million. The domestic market is very large. Chongqing is now also joining the mainland's “Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Cities†plan. Nearly 20,000 street lamps will be converted into LED lights in Chongqing's northern new district this year. Taiwanese businessman Xinyuansheng participates in the “Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Miles†pilot program, and there are some joint ventures. Taiwan-funded enterprises also participate in related programs.
   He pointed out that Chongqing will add 300,000 street lamps this year, and replace 15,000 street lamps in the main city with LED energy-saving products. In the next five years, 150 tunnels with a total length of 600 kilometers will be installed in Chongqing. At present, he is negotiating with several LED industry companies such as Dongcheng Science and Technology, Pei Xin, Xin Yuan Sheng, Xiao Sun and Yi Guang, and invites them to enter the Chongqing Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Park.
   Yin Liang said that the LED industry chain in Chongqing is still incomplete. The development of the downstream industries in the packaging industry is relatively good, but some technologies in the middle and upper reaches are relatively backward, and the core technology investment of Taiwanese companies is needed. The Chongqing Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Park was initially completed, and an LED R&D center was set up with an area of ​​120,000 square meters and low rents.
