First, based on the use of energy-saving assessment under the conditions as the actual use of energy under the conditions under the assessment, air-conditioning energy efficiency assessment of air-conditioning for energy-saving air-conditioning performance has put forward more comprehensive and more stringent requirements - energy-saving materials, energy saving It needs to be long-lasting, energy-saving, and long-lived. In standby mode, it must also be energy-efficient and better able to cope with harsh high- and low-temperature environments. Specific indicators include long-haul performance, high-temperature performance, low-temperature performance, standby power consumption, and cold-to-weight ratio.

Among them, the long-haul performance test is to simulate the performance of air conditioners in the atmospheric environment, and to test the performance of products subjected to rain and dust erosion. Through the evaluation of the prototype, the performance of the attenuation is reduced by more than 10% compared with the ordinary models. This puts forward higher requirements on product quality and ensures the basic rights and interests of consumers in the long-term use of energy-saving air-conditioning.

The high and low temperature load tests test the changes in the energy efficiency of air conditioners by simulating extreme weather conditions in real life. The assessment of the requirements for energy-saving air-conditioning is that at a high temperature of +40°C and a low temperature of -2°C, high-efficiency operation can be maintained while satisfying the needs of users.

According to the Implementation Regulations for Long-term Energy Efficiency Evaluation of Air-conditioners, the test includes 11 projects, requiring that the cooling rate be within 10% of the long-haul cooling rate, and the long-term energy efficiency attenuation rate should be within 15%. In addition to the requirements for the complete machine, many key components inside the air conditioner, such as compressors, motors, and capacitors, are also strictly regulated, such as:

● Compressor: It is an energy-saving product, and its cooling capacity and performance coefficient fall below or equal to 5%;

● Electric motor: 2 levels of energy saving and above;

● Capacitors: The operating level is not lower than Class B for 10,000 hours, and the capacitance change does not exceed 3%;

● Solenoid valve: durability cycle more than 20,000 times;

● Relay: electrical life of not less than 50,000 times, mechanical life of not less than 100,000 times;

● Outdoor plastic parts: 1. UV resistance: After being irradiated with carbon arc lamp for 720 hours, or after being irradiated with xenon arc lamp for 1000 hours, the flame retardant level of the sample should remain unchanged for any thickness and any color, and after irradiation The average physical properties shall not be lower than 70% before irradiation; 2. The heat resistance index is greater than or equal to the highest temperature in use.

Xia Jianjun, Director of Product Quality Division of China Quality Certification Center, pointed out that the introduction of long-term energy-saving assessment of air-conditioners will lead to further advances in energy-saving technologies in the air-conditioning industry, and will also provide consumers with a better experience. At the same time, as the only energy-saving assessment method based on the actual use of products in China, air-conditioning long-term energy-saving assessment has been included in the major issues of the AQSIQ. The China Quality Certification Center will work with national authorities and industry leaders to promote this assessment as one of the evaluation criteria for consumers to purchase air conditioners.
