Yan Deng, an engineer at the Yunnan Provincial Energy Conservation Center, said that an energy-saving lamp and an incandescent lamp can save 60%-80% of energy, increase brightness by 4 times, and extend the life of the lamp by 4 to 6 times. According to estimates, after the use of more than 1 million energy-saving lamps promoted in Anning City this year, the average daily use of each energy-saving lamp is 4 hours, which can save residents electricity costs of 30.825 million yuan per year.
