Cree, the LED lighting market leader, announced the launch of its next-generation high-brightness blue, green and red 4mm and 5mm oval LEDs. These new elliptical LEDs feature blue, green and red light-matched radiation patterns for superior image quality in digital signage and full-color signage applications.
In Cree's unique matching radiation pattern, the red graphic is placed inside the blue and green graphics to achieve a mixed cool white light instead of the pink color that appears when a non-matching LED is used.
Cree's elliptical LEDs offer a wide viewing angle and enhanced contrast, with a wide range of brightness and color, making them ideal for signage markets. Compared to other technologies, LEDs for signage and display help achieve lower levels. Power and less maintenance.
