This part is a part of the national standard of GB 7000 series lamps. There are 18 existing standards in GB 7000 series. By the date of publication of this part, the published GB7000 series standards are as follows:

This part should be used together with GB 7000.1 "General Safety Requirements and Tests for Luminaires".

Appendix A of this section is an informative annex and Appendix B is a normative appendix.

Compared with the previous version, the main change in this edition is the addition of the requirements for column-type composite lamps (2, 6.1, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, Appendix B).

This part is equivalent to IEC 60598-2-3:2002 "Lamps - Part 2-3: Special requirements - Road and street lighting" in the technical content and writing format. This part and IEC 60598-2-3:2002 It is exactly the same.

This part was proposed by the China National Light Industry Council.

This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Lighting Standardization Technical Committee.

Road and street lighting safety requirements

1 Scope

The requirements specified in this part of the GB 7000 series of standards apply to:

- lamps for roads, street lighting and other outdoor public places;

- tunnel lighting;

- column-type composite lamps with a minimum height of 2.5 m above the normal ground;

And these lamps use an electric light source with a supply voltage not exceeding 1 000 V.

Note: Column composite luminaires with a total height of less than 2.5 m are under consideration.
