1. Intelligent power distribution is currently in the exploration stage
At present, many companies are exploring and researching intelligent power distribution. For example, Schneider Electric, GE, and Matsushita of Japan have invested heavily in research and exploration of intelligent power distribution systems, and have achieved gratifying results. Their technical characteristics are similar. It is to use network technology, control technology, communication technology, etc. to realize the protection, control, measurement, signal, state monitoring, power management, etc. of the power supply and distribution system, and realize effective and scientific management and maintenance of the power supply and distribution system to realize electric energy. Balance supply and demand to maintain grid stability.
2. Intelligent power distribution is the future direction
The reason why we dare to call "smart power distribution", in addition to the above characteristics, must also have the ability to think, logical judgment, etc., otherwise the word "smart". If these functions are realized, the reliability of the power distribution system will be greatly improved. Since the system will "think", the pre-judgment of the fault and the troubleshooting of the fault will be more effective. Therefore, no matter what technical route is adopted, the intelligentization of the power distribution system will be a trend.

3. Intelligent power distribution needs to be led by large enterprises with strength
Large enterprises have great advantages in terms of technical strength, financial resources, personnel reserves, and experience. For such a large system research, it is unbearable for SMEs. Therefore, large enterprises are required to lead and SMEs participate.

4, intelligent power distribution standards are the key
Different units and different scholars have different understandings of intelligent power distribution, and the technical routes will vary widely. However, as far as engineering is concerned, the standards of different enterprises will hinder the promotion and application of intelligent power distribution technology. Therefore, the standard can standardize the intelligent power distribution technology requirements of various enterprises, achieve mutual compatibility, interconnect and communicate, and jointly promote the development of intelligent power distribution technology. .
In a big way, the intelligent power distribution system is a subsystem of the intelligent power supply and distribution system. Since there is no standard for intelligent power supply and distribution systems, many manufacturers are now in the stage of exploring and researching experiments, and the understanding of the system is also different. The routes are also different, which can be summarized as follows:
1. Intelligent power supply and distribution system based on intelligent instrument system
The system is based on a system composed of smart meters, and is developed on the basis of this, adding intelligent power distribution related functions. This kind of scheme is relatively simple, easy to implement, and the cost is not high. However, there are shortcomings such as state monitoring of electrical components and life expectancy.
2. Intelligent power distribution system based on substation monitoring system
The application of the power distribution monitoring system is relatively mature and relatively rich in functions. On this basis, it has been expanded into an intelligent power distribution system. The function is relatively rich, the cost is not high, and it is easy to popularize.
3. Intelligent power distribution system based on BAS
BAS monitors the equipment in the building and naturally achieves the desired goals for intelligent power distribution. However, BAS is relatively broad and incomplete, and intelligent power distribution based on this is not a good solution.
4, dedicated intelligent power distribution system
Based on network technology, control technology, computer technology and other special intelligent power distribution systems developed, the system has strong pertinence, high intelligence level, powerful functions, advanced concepts and good development prospects. However, from the system to the electrical components are completely new design, high cost, long promotion period, and difficult to popularize.
