1 Project Overview Suzhou Sports Center is located in the east of Suzhou Shishan Bridge, adjacent to Suzhou New District in the west, Suzhou Ancient City in the east and Sanxiang Road in the north. There is a 33,000-seat comprehensive stadium and a 6,000-seat gymnasium in the sports center. The stadium and the stadium are connected by two sky bridges with a span of 70m and curved arcs, connecting two buildings with smooth curves. It has both European style and the elegance of Suzhou's “bridges and flowing water”. The stadium floodlighting project is one of the two sections of the floodlighting of the sports center.

2 The overall design idea The purpose of building floodlighting is to make the building show its unique style after the nightfall through the combination of light intensity and color combination, in order to beautify the city and brighten the city.

The Suzhou Sports Center has distinct architectural features. The circular arc-shaped petals form an elliptical stadium, and the rectangular gymnasium has a curved roof. The two bridges connect the two buildings together. The rational application of modern building materials such as glass curtain walls and composite aluminum panels makes the whole building quite modern. Since the project is a sports park and is a large-scale quality project, the overall atmosphere should be considered in the design and construction of floodlighting. Consider the following points:

(1) People are watching the feeling of sports parks in the distance;

(2) People's feelings when watching sports parks at close range;

(3) using a white light source to match the color of the building material (white hyperboloid composite aluminum plate);

(4) Adopting a concealed method so that the viewer cannot directly see the light source to avoid glare;

(5) Pay attention to the distance between the lamp and the reflector to avoid overheating.

In the lighting method, different parts of the contrast and white tone are used to highlight the volume and distinctive parts of the whole building, and strive to highlight its elegance, solemnity and modernity, that is, the reinforced composite aluminum plate is like a petal shape, used on the platform. Smooth lighting creates a strong contrast between the two main parts (composite aluminum and pillar).

3 Determination of illuminance

Adopt US G. E company floodlighting design software for illuminance calculation, the average illuminance of the facade is 200 ~ 250lx. The corresponding mathematical model:

(1) Calculation of parameters such as beam width: For details, see P309 on the Lighting Engineering Design Manual;

(2) Calculation of lamp power: The formula for calculating the luminous intensity is as follows: I=ED2 or I=EH2/Sin2αcos2α where: I——the luminous intensity required for the facade of the building (cd); E——the vertical of the facade Illuminance (Lx); H - floodlight projection height (m); D - distance of the floodlight from the building (m); α - the angle between the projection direction of the light source and the ground.

4 The choice of color temperature is illuminated by a metal halide lamp with a color temperature of 4000 to 4200K. The white color of the middle tone can accurately reflect the texture of the building, and can highlight the elegant temperament of the whole building. At the same time, avoiding the use of high color temperature and cold light makes people feel cold and gloomy. Give people a feeling of comfort, fully embody the people-oriented thinking.

5 The choice of luminaires According to the lighting requirements and architectural features, two lamps are used: medium beam 400W metal halide lamp PF-400 and wide beam 400W metal halide lamp PF-154 (US G.E. company product). Its main features are as follows:

(1) luminaire protection grade IP65;

(2) High-pressure cast aluminum casing, acrylic coating inside and outside, strong corrosion resistance;

(3) G. E. Patented glass-coated aluminum reflector to improve the corrosion resistance of the reflector while improving the efficiency of the luminaire;

(4) Activated carbon respirator to improve the corrosion resistance of the lamp and reduce the maintenance workload;

(5) narrow, medium and wide beam angles, suitable for different applications;

(6) 400W American standard metal halide lamp with luminous flux of 36000Lm and long life of 20,000 hours.

6 Lighting arrangement The lighting design highlights the petal shape of the composite aluminum plate. The lamp is installed on the side of the column, and the petals are contrasted from bottom to top to highlight the three-dimensional and sense of style. The top canopy is also a sign of the stadium. Without affecting the competition, the ceiling can be illuminated by the lamps installed near the pillars on the side of the column, which not only illuminates the steel grid, but also uniformly illuminates the ceiling, echoing the petals. Lamp location list:

(1) Petal part (see Table 3): A 400W medium beam metal halide lamp and a 400W wide beam metal halide lamp are installed next to each column, and each petal has 2 sets of illumination. The middle beam light PF-400 mainly illuminates the upper part, and the PF-154 wide beam mainly illuminates the middle and lower parts, and gradually changes from the bottom upwards, and the average illuminance is 212lx.

(2) Skyscraper (see Table 4): On the side of the guardrail at 22m elevation, install a set of 400W wide beam metal halide lamp at 1m from the pillar. There are two sets of lamps between the two pillars. The lamps illuminate the ceiling to the outside, and the average illumination is 201lx. .

7 power supply and distribution

(1) The floodlighting power supply of this project is respectively taken from the floodlighting lighting reserved circuit of the two low-voltage power distribution rooms in the field, and the secondary power distribution is carried out in the distribution electricity of the second floor in the first and third zones respectively. Each lighting distribution box adopts a radial power distribution mode. Considering the problem of power supply radius and voltage loss, each lighting distribution electric box is set in the second floor and six power distribution rooms;

(2) The power supply voltage is ~220/380V, and the system ground protection type is TN-S system. Since the gas discharge lamp is a non-linear load, the line contains higher harmonics based on the third harmonic, so the neutral line sections of all lines are selected according to the maximum one-phase current.

The indoor part of each lighting branch line is made of VV-3×4 copper core cable through the steel pipe or along the steel grid.

The outdoor lighting branch line is directly buried by VV22-3×4 armored cable.

This design adopts the method of single lamp compensation, and the power factor reaches above 0.8.

8 In addition to manual control, the automatic control mode is designed based on the following points: 8.1 Control mode is safe and reliable. Each distribution box outlet circuit has a non-contact switch, and its contactless switch is selected from the United States. High-reliability thyristor with long service life and basically maintenance-free after commissioning.

8.2 Control method Digitization The multi-mode control of the system is carried out by using the bus system. The operation of various lighting modes of the stadium can be completed by using a central processing unit, and the communication interface is reserved to be compatible with the BA system of the sports center.

8.3 Control Mode Diversified stadiums, pavilions and connecting bridges can be controlled in multiple modes, and even each loop can be operated independently on the Chinese touch screen. Moreover, you can view the lighting effects of different modes of floodlighting on the display, such as general lighting effects, festivals and major festival floodlighting effects, which can greatly save operating costs.

8.4 The system has good openness. 9 Conclusion The floodlighting equipment of Suzhou Sports Center Stadium has good operating parameters and safe operation for more than one year.
