"The biggest feature of this chip is that in the case of industrial wireless networks, many functions that were implemented by software in the past are directly supported by hardware." Dean of the School of Automation, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Ministry of Education, Industrial Internet of Things and Networked Control Wang Ping, director of the key laboratory, introduced. Nowadays, in many automated production lines, most enterprises adopt the method of industrial wired network, but the cost of wiring is very high, accounting for more than 60% of the installation and maintenance cost of the entire automation system. Many companies hope to use industrial wireless networks instead.

"Software support consumes a lot of resources, affects the processing speed of the CPU itself and the storage resource space, and it will also cause the processing speed and accuracy of the application system to decrease, and delays and insufficient reliability may occur." Wang Ping said that under the conditions of the same function, using the chip to achieve functional support can increase the processing speed of the software by about 50%, other system parameters will increase accordingly, and resource consumption can be reduced by about half.

According to reports, there is no similar technical achievements at home and abroad. The successful research and development of Chongqing "Core" No. 1 also marks that China has reached the world's leading level in the field of industrial Internet of Things technology.

Wang Ping revealed that Yuxinxin No.1 will be continuously improved in terms of reliability and stability, and mass production and application can be achieved within the year. The estimated selling price is about 20-30 yuan per block, which has huge market potential and commercial value. .
