Yesterday (17th), LG Electronics released five WIDEBOOK series 16:9 HDLED backlit notebook computers, including two 15.6-inch models (R580/R560), two 14-inch models (R480/R460) and a 13.3 Inch model (R380).
It is understood that R580/R480 is the LG flagship model, R560/R460 is a business model, and R380 is a low-cost model. The R580 is equipped with a Blu-ray Disc player. LG's five notebooks are mainly equipped with: Intel Core2 Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForece graphics chip and 3G data card, 1.3 million pixel network camera lens and HDMI terminal. LG said that the five notebooks will be first sold in Turkey, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, and will be sold in other Asian countries, Europe, North America and Latin America before the end of September.
