To enhance the low-speed performance of the motor during startup, the starting torque is adjusted to ensure that the motor can meet the required torque for production. This adjustment helps in achieving smoother and more efficient operation at lower speeds. The formula for torque boost is calculated as: Torque Boost = (0HZ Output Voltage / Rated Output Voltage) × 100%. In an asynchronous motor variable frequency drive system, torque control can be quite complex. At low frequencies, the effects of resistance and leakage reactance become significant. If the voltage remains constant, the magnetic flux will decrease, which in turn reduces the motor's output torque. To counter this, voltage compensation is applied at low frequencies to improve torque output. However, the impact of leakage impedance isn't just dependent on frequency—it also varies with the current flowing through the motor. Achieving precise compensation is challenging. In recent years, some advanced inverters have been developed abroad that can self-compensate, but these systems require substantial computational power and complex hardware and software setups. As a result, most standard inverters rely on manual settings by the user for torque boost. For the inverter we are using, it is recommended to set the torque boost between 1% and 5% to achieve optimal performance while maintaining system stability and efficiency.
Steel pole
Steel poles are commonly used to carry several types of electric power lines, distribution lines and lighting system. Distribution lines carry power from local substations to customers. They generally carry voltages from 4.6 to 33kV for distances up to 30 miles, and include transformers to step the voltage down from the primary voltage to the lower secondary voltage used by the customer. A service drop carries this lower voltage to the customer's premises.
