China's first 4.5-generation AMOLED production line - Rainbow (Foshan) OLED photoelectric display project a trial production and the second phase of the ceremony, today held in Foshan, Guangdong. This project is the second 4.5-generation AMOLED photoelectric display production line after South Korea’s Samsung, leading the development direction of the third generation of “dream displayâ€. The construction project was independently developed by Rainbow and basically synchronized with the international OLED photoelectric display.
It is reported that the project will be completed within three years the country's largest OLED industry base, indicating that China's optoelectronic display industry is accelerating to catch up with the world advanced level. The Rainbow II OLED project is to build two 4.5-generation AMOLED production lines with a total investment of RMB 9.46 billion. In November this year and next October, they respectively started the construction of a 4.5-generation AMOLED production line.
