Apple effect to reproduce NAND flash memory prices

The once-quiet flash memory market was once again turbulent with the release of the new Apple MacBook Air, and inSpectrum, a memory chip research company, recently stated that Apple's new notebooks equipped with high-capacity SSDs will stimulate the flash memory market, and a slight increase in demand has emerged. Prices have also begun to rise. However, inSpectrum also pointed out that this rising situation will not last long.

As of the afternoon of October 22, 16Gb and 32Gb MLC NAND flash memory prices have risen 2% to $4.35 and $5.10.

Market traders believe that the new Apple MacBook Air is the catalyst for this price increase, and competitive market prices will help increase the demand for corresponding flash memory.

However, the DRAM market has still not escaped its sluggish performance. Market transactions have continued to decline, prices have continued to decline, and it is difficult for companies to find favorable measures to stimulate price increases in the near future.

As of yesterday afternoon, the spot price of 1Gb DDR3 dropped by 3% to 1.60 dollars, and the price of the same-density DDR2 price remained at 1.79.
