At the same time, with the joint efforts of the government and industry, the status of Chinese enterprises in the international open source community and market continues to improve. At present, China's open source industry still has problems in that the market is not standardized, and the views of customers and manufacturers are not unified. In order to better solve these problems and promote the development of cloud computing open source technology, OSCAR will carry out the following work this year:
First, a number of activities were carried out to promote the industrialization of technology. This year, the Alliance organized a total of seven technical Meetup and Salon, five industry seminars, and organized several summits with the open source community and the DC/OS community to promote the open source technology. Organize face-to-face communication activities between manufacturers and users three times, and establish a communication channel for direct communication between the two parties, directly promoting the landing of open source technology.
The second is to use the idea of ​​open source to do industry norms for the first time, and organize many seminars to promote technical standardization. In July, the Alliance released an open source project to improve technology and market standardization and standardization. At present, some open source projects have already applied for the project and formed the first draft of the specification.
The third is to develop a variety of assessment methods to promote the quality of products and services. This year, the Alliance launched two batches of OpenStack solution certification. A total of 11 companies participated. Huawei, Huasan, Fiberhome Communications, Zhonglian Runtong, EasyStack, Yuntuo Teng, and UMcloud completed the certification in the first batch; ZTE Aerospace information, Huayun data, Beijing Yunying, etc. are undergoing the second batch of certification. From the results of the certification, the quality of the solutions of Chinese manufacturers has reached a very high standard, can be in line with international manufacturers, and the supporting services can also meet the evaluation criteria. In addition, the Alliance is preparing an evaluation method for container solutions, which will be released after multiple rounds of certification.
Fourth, in July, the first part of the white paper on cloud computing open source industry was released. Based on the White Paper of OpenStack, a second white paper based on container technology will be released to solve the problem that enterprise IT personnel cannot understand the cloud computing open source technology solution.
