Associate Professor Zhong Haizheng of the School of Materials has been engaged in the synthesis of CuInS2 and CuInSe2 nanocrystals for many years, and is at the international advanced level in the research of such materials. With the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and other projects, he used the research platform of the School of Materials and the Micro-Nano Technology Center to systematically study the optical properties of its size and composition, and adopted a combined control strategy to obtain a spectrum of 500. Fluorescent nanocrystalline material with adjustable -700 nm and absolute quantum yield of 75%. On this basis, the small test device was built, which broke through the bottleneck of fluorescent nanocrystal synthesis and amplification, and realized the preparation of one-time 100-gram nanocrystals. At the same time, it cooperated with many research groups at home and abroad to expand its illumination and display. Applications in areas such as detection. Recently, Associate Professor Zhong Haizheng focused on the development of white LEDs based on CuInS2 series of nanocrystalline phosphors. The use of red and green nanocrystalline phosphors to prepare patch and high power white LED devices (see Figure 1a), device color rendering index >90, the highest lumen efficiency is close to 70 lm/W, and the color temperature is adjustable between 3000-11000K. Compared with other LED technologies developed by domestic and foreign companies, its color rendering index and lumen efficiency are at an advanced level, see Figure 1 ( b). At present, he is conducting research on nanocrystalline surface interface engineering to find a more suitable package matrix. If the service life exceeds 10,000 hours, it is expected to meet the application requirements of lighting and display, and will have broad market value.

The above research results have published 11 SCI papers in high-level journals including Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, Nanoscale, Optics Express, etc. The above papers have been cited more than 200 times by others, applying for 4 core patents. At the just-concluded 13th National Luminescence Academic Conference, Associate Professor Zhong Haizheng’s academic report on “fine control of non-rare earth nanocrystalline phosphors and their LED applications” won the 6th Xu Xuyi luminescence outstanding youth academic paper II And other awards.
