Philips Electronics today introduced the world's smallest FM radio solution for mobile phones, one of three new members of the Philips FM radio product line. As the leader in mobile radio frequency radio solutions, Philips is the first to introduce the smallest FM + Radio Data System integration solution in the market, leading consumers into an easy-to-use interactive radio world.

The number of external components of the new FM and FM + radio data system products has been greatly reduced. The printed circuit board area of the FM radio TEA5761 is reduced from 150 square millimeters to 50 square millimeters. The FM product with integrated RDS demodulator and decoder - TEA5764 has a board area of only 70 square millimeters. The above two products are packaged in a wafer level chip size. Philips is the first company to achieve this level of integration. The FM radio and FM+RDS are fully pin-compatible, so manufacturers will benefit significantly from the final stage of switching capabilities.

Today, 15% of mobile phones sold worldwide have FM radio capabilities, and the entire market is expected to grow to 50% (Note 2). Philips' complete radio product line includes FM, AM/FM and FM+RDS and supports the US RDS standard radio data system. The integrated RDS feature will allow the user to view the station name, scan for specific broadcasts, and ensure that the receiver receives the strongest signal. While this latest technology is improving consumer entertainment, telecom operators can also benefit relatively from the increased use of mobile phones.

Mobile phones are gradually evolving into portable "interconnected consumer" devices, one of the most important functions that consumers are most eager for. Because, for the consumer who listens to the radio for 20 hours a week (Note 1), it is of course very welcome to add the easy-to-use FM radio function to the phone. In addition, the ultra-small size of the product simplifies the manufacturer's design process while retaining more space to accommodate other functions.

Philips' complete line of FM radios offers manufacturers the perfect opportunity to target their target audience. The accelerating product innovation cycle and increasing global competition have made the market life cycle of mobile phones and other mobile devices shorter and shorter, and the flexibility offered by the Philips product line is even more important.

The FM radio TEA5767 is now in volume production. The AM/FM TEA5777 is available in a HVQFN48 package with a board area of 200 square millimeters.

Philips' FMA TEA5761 products are available now. The FM+RDS TEA5764 and AM/FM TEA5777 will be available in January 2005.

Ethernet Cable Wiring

Ethernet cables connect devices such as PCs, routers, and switches within a local area network. Most technicians refer to these standards as CAT5 and CAT6, respectively. Also CAT3 available. Because of this, many online stores that sell network cables use this abbreviated language as well.

The connector can by shield or non-shield type, raw cable can be UTP, STP, FTP type. Also the molded shape can be custom mould by straight, right-angle, 105 degree, etc.

These physical cables are limited by length and durability. If a network cable is too long or of poor quality, it won't carry a good network signal. These limits are one reason there are different types of Ethernet cables that are optimized to perform certain tasks in specific situations.
