The introduction of the state's support for the EMC policy has added variables to the ten cities. The use of EMC to popularize LED street lights solves the problem of financial expenses, but it faces the problem of how to recover costs. According to statistics, if a 250W LED street lamp is used instead of a 400W high-pressure sodium lamp, the cost recovery cycle is more than eight years. Obviously, the recycling cycle is very long and it is not suitable for large-scale promotion under current conditions.
According to GLII statistics, the installation of LED street lights in the first half of 2010 was 200,000 baht. It is estimated that the installation volume in the second half of the year will be 300,000 baht, and the annual installation volume will reach 500,000 baht.
Looking forward to the installation of LED street lights in this year and next year will grow steadily and slightly.
